What is CTAE?

Celebrate CTAE!

What does the future hold for you? Do you have a plan? Well, through Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) Programs you will see the many possibilities that may lie ahead.

CTAE provides various learning opportunities for students to gain valuable experiences through technical and academic skills development. According to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 18 of the 20 fastest growing occupations within the next decade will require CTAE related skills. Our mission is to ensure that our students are competitive globally and prepared for the careers that are most in demand.

We are extremely fortunate that all of our students must declare and complete a CTAE pathway prior to graduating. It is vital that parents and students are knowledgeable about our program offerings so that students may select the best fit for their life's path and that they are more prepared for future employment and/or transitioning to post-secondary education.

Additionally, students are afforded the opportunity to enhance personal and leadership skills through involvement through ten Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO). CTSOs have proven valuable as our students expand networking with other schools in the state of Georgia and beyond.
